Travel Canada publishes independent informational guides. It is not a government service, immigration representative or law firm. Our content is general information, not legal or immigration advice.
Sources
Material claims about eligibility, documents, fees, validity, processing, entry and application steps must be supported by current primary sources. We prefer Government of Canada and IRCC pages and link them in the relevant article. A third-party summary does not replace an available primary source.
Drafting and review
Our publication workflow can use software and language models to help draft, compare and edit content. Publication is allowed only after separate checks for source support, factual consistency, Canadian English, originality, commercial claims and technical rendering. These checks do not create a human identity or professional credential, and we do not describe them as one.
Updates
Each article displays its last-reviewed date. Monitored source changes can quarantine an affected article until its claims are checked again. A date changes only when the article or its evidence has been reviewed, not merely to make a page appear fresh.
Commercial policy
We do not sell eTAs, promise faster government approval or present a paid intermediary as the official application route. Any future advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationship must be visibly disclosed and must not influence factual conclusions.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected in the article and recorded on the corrections page. Minor spelling, formatting and clarity edits may be made without a separate notice when they do not change meaning.
